Asia Sabbatical – See You in March 2013

Happy 2013 Everyone! We have a feeling this is going to be one great year. But before we dive into another fruitful building season, we’re taking a little break in SE Asia and Japan for a few months.

Our first stop will be at Pun Pun – Center For Self Reliance (also see this great TED talk from the founder), followed by a tour of various natural building sites, permaculture projects, and culminating in Japan where we’ll get a chance to see the highly revered earthen plaster work found in Japan’s most highly regarded architecture. We’ll do our best to post a few stories here on our blog, as well as on Dirt Craft’s Facebook Page.

We’re also anticipating a wonderful season of building with plenty of wonderful workshop opportunities. You can find a smattering of what you can expect for 2013 on our main page (see the RH column). Registration for the courses will be open by mid-March 2013, so check back then for a more details.

And finally, if you have a project that you’d like to propose to us or would like to host a workshop, please send an email to [email protected] with the details.

Enjoy the rest of the winter and we look forward to working with you very soon!

Sincerely,

Ashley and Heather
